One Year and a 100 Shows

One Year and a 100 Shows

Is it July already? I can not believe it, I really can't it has been a year since I moved back to Modesto and wow what a ride it has been(could only have been cooler if it was in a 57 Chevy.) I have reconnected with a lot of old friends and made so many new ones over the last year. In the past 12 months I have booked over a 100 shows with national, international and tons of locals. Brought  Legends and Icons such as Ian McLagan, Agent Orange, Roddy Radiation/Lynval Golding of the Specials, Annabella Lwin(of Bow Wow Wow), Reverend Horton Heat. Created two series Rockabilly Cruise Night and the Brew Ha Ha(with Jimmie Menezes) both of which have become very successful. Won a MAMA(Best Promoter) for myself and helped The Brewhouse win Best Venue. Earlier this year I started writing this column for the Modesto View and hope that you all have enjoyed reading it.

Is it June already? We are half way through the year, you have  just celebrated Graduation either for yourself or a love one and yes it is Summer. The start of Summer in Modesto means Graffiti(American Graffiti that is)Classic Cars, Music and lots of good times.  Modesto has already had some great bands come through town this year, Guttermouth, MoFo Party Band, Y&T, The Toasters, Lydia Loveless, Annabella Lwin, American Head Charge, The Creepshow, J Boog, Angry Samoans and  Reverend Horton Heat just to name a few. Summer is tour season and over the next few months things are only going to heat up and I am not just talking about the temperature.

MAMAVIEW-May is Heating up!

MAMAVIEW-May is Heating up!

Very excited for all the great events coming up in May and beyond. Check out the back of the Modesto View each month and one look at the Calendar and know that there is always something to do in the Modesto Area. Art, Comedy, Music and more you can not truthfully say there is nothing to do in Modesto.
