NAACP honors Turlock Police Department

NAACP honors Turlock Police Department

TURLOCK - On Tuesday, June 28, during the City of Turlock Council meeting, NAACP President Frank Johnson spoke highly of Turlock Police Department’s leadership and personnel in regards to organizational achievements in cultural diversity within the City of Turlock. 

johnson referred to Turlock Police Department as the leading agency in forging community relationships and addressing cultural issues. He suggested Turlock Police Department could serve as a model to others! 

During the council meeting Johnson presented Turlock Police Chief Gary Hampton with an award recognizing the Turlock Police Department’s achievement in cultural diversity and its contributions to the community. 

Hampton stated “During the city council meeting last night I was pleasantly surprised to accept an award on behalf of the department, presented by the NAACP, for our organizational achievement and contributions to the community in cultural diversity.&
