Villains Invade Summer Reading at the Keyes Library

Without a villain, the hero can stay home! Stop by the Keyes Library on Tuesday, May 19 at 3 p.m. to celebrate the start of the Summer Reading Program, Every Hero Has a Story, with a Villain-themed party.  During this program, participants can pose as several Disney and comic book villains in our photo booth area. There will also be villain-inspired crafts, including a button-maker and scratch art craft and cake and light refreshments will be served while supplies last. Individuals can also come in costume; however, costumes are not required.

Children, tweens, teens, and adults can also use this event as an opportunity to sign-up for our annual Summer Reading Program where individuals can win prizes just for reading. Participants can later celebrate the defeat of these villains and the triumph of superheroes with a Superhero-themed end of Summer Reading Party on Tuesday, August 4 at 3 p.m.

This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Keyes Library. The Keyes Library is located at 4420 Maud Ave. For more information, please call 664-8006.
