Relay for Life set for April 16-17

OAKDALE - The Oakdale Relay for Life kicks off Saturday, April 16 and continues through Sunday, April 17 at Oakdale High School, 739 West G Street. The fun-filled overnight event is designed to celebrate cancer survivors and raise money for research and programs of the American Cancer Society.

During the event, teams of people will gather at the school to take turns walking or running or laps. Each team will try to keep at least one team member on the track at all times.

Relay for Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, those who face cancer will be support, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.
