Local family makes lead gift for Heart and Vascular Institute at Memorial

Modesto, CA – Memorial Hospital Foundation announced the receipt of a generous $100,000 donation from the Bruno family — long-time residents of Modesto — to help kick off a public campaign to raise funds for a Heart and Vascular Institute in the Central Valley.

The Heart and Vascular Institute will be located at Memorial Medical Center (MMC), part of Northern California’s Sutter Health network of hospitals. The Foundation hopes to raise one million dollars from the community to contribute toward the projected three million dollar cost of the project.
