When Dutch immigrants Walter and Lenneke Bulk decided to start their own business nearly 30 years ago, there was never any doubt that it would involve making Gouda cheese.

You could say that cheese is in the Bulk family’s blood.

“We wanted to find a niche and start our own business and cheese-making is in our family background – Gouda is the national Dutch cheese,” said Lenneke Bulk. “It’s like an extension of our past.”
