Winter Fun at the Keyes Library

Join the Keyes Library during the month of December for several merry and family-friendly events for individuals of all ages!

Children and teens can participate in the Keyes Book Bingo from Dec. 2 through Dec. 31. Pick up a bingo card from the library and follow the instructions to win candy and prizes. The Keyes Library will also have a grand prize drawing for those participants that turn in a completed bingo card! Two winners will each receive the grand prize of a scooter with lighted wheels.

Aspiring chefs can participate in the What’s Cooking?: Recipe Exchange from Dec. 2 through Dec. 31. Participants can come by the library for holiday cooking ideas and pick up the recipes of the month! While at the library turn in your favorite recipe to be entered into the contest for the recipe of the month in January! Two recipes will be chosen for January’s Recipes of the Month.

Children will enjoy the Snowman Ornament Craft on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 1 p.m. During this winter-themed craft, children will have the opportunity to make an ornament using popsicle sticks!

Adults can celebrate the season with a Glass Staining Ornament Craft on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 2 p.m.  This program is for adults 18 and over, however, children are welcome to participate with direct adult supervision. One adult per child is requested.

These events are sponsored by the Friends of the Keyes Library. The library is located on 4420 Maud Ave. For more information, please call 664-8006.
